Apple, can you please make replacement parts for your expensive in-ear headset?

Dear Apple,

I really love your products. I am a true believer in thinking different. The Mac. has changed my life, the iPod has brought new energy into it and the iPad keeps me “in the know” while I’m on the road and at meetings.

Now, getting to the point – why don’t you sell replacement earpieces (aka ‘rubber tips) for your most expensive ‘In-Ear Headphones’?

I’ve lost the ideal sized pair, and left with one small and one large, neither of which work right for me. The only way to get replacements is by buying a new near 100 dollar headset (yep, that’s the price at which they sell them here in Sri Lanka!)

Please grow up Apple. I love your products. But don’t make me *pay* for it. For me, this is only second to ‘locking’ the (mostly first gen) iPhone while knowing that the whole world will unlock them, acknowledging their existence globally, and locking them again through updates.

Thank you.

Ima
Ps: I choose not to use any ol thirdparty or aftermarket rubber tip; I particularly paid for an Apple product, because I choose not to compromise on quality.
