A peek inside Apple Store 2.0
I bought OmniFocus for Mac.. and I think it’s awesome!
Having used Things both on my Mac as well as iPad for sometime now, I needed a few key features such as cloud-based sync. Cultured Code (the folks behind Things) suggest the presence of “People” and “Delegation” but don’t really show how it’s used. I later found out that it wasn’t really available. So, it was time to look around.
Don’t get me wrong, Things is an awesome app and I’d recommend it to anyone looking to work in an ‘individual’ and ‘independent’ space; but anything more than that, would probably have you looking out for alternatives.
OmniFocus takes the cake when it comes to synchonizing to the cloud and much better overall GTD (short for ‘Getting Things Done‘) on a Mac.
It probably is the best GTD app ever; if you choose to buy it through the App Store, I believe there is the advantage of being able to install it on other Macs you use as well. I’m not sure how many, or if the feature is available to those who purchase it from Omni’s own store.
Sofortbild – a Mac tethered shooting App
I’m looking forward to testing this app with the Nikon D7000. However, I did notice that there’s no Live View. Nikon’s Camera Control Pro 2 app, on the other hand, has AWESOME Live View, but at a price.
More on Sofortbild once I get my hands on it.
How to Crack Just About Any Mac App (and How to Prevent It)
Disclaimer: I do not endorse software piracy. Some will view this article as an endorsement of piracy, but I do not view it that way. Like the author, I too do not believe that obscurity and ignoring the problem is an acceptable solution.
